First model for my new ynnari army. Trying to link all the three factions together while keeping them distinct.

First one below, thoughts, comments and criticisms welcome. As this was a test model to get all the colours right there was a lot of over painting and not much thinning of paints.

Really nice - liking the subdued colour scheme. Neat diamonds, too!

The diamonds are very well done and i think just in general blue and orange are two colors that work well together in darker tones like this

realism is a lie

Very nice. The diamonds on the face plate are particularly good.

Thanks! My first attempt at diamonds and I'm not going to lie,, it took me ages to do. Really happy with the results the model looks a lot brighter in reality. Shooting with an iPhone and only one lamp.

So the plan is to replicate the orange and dark green for the dark eldar with blue gemstones and poison. Then for the eldar mainly the blue with a few orange and dark green panels. Then they are all tied together with the grey to bring them all under the ynnari banner.

So finally got the dark eldar colours sorted, think they work well with the harlequin, hopefully it shows they are a different faction but still part of the same ynnari force... any thoughts?

Eldar to come soon!

The Deldar looks wonderful but there's something a bit...odd about it. The way his torso is orange but everything else is green looks a bit like he's just a kitbash of two models if you get what I'm saying.

It's great work but I think if you meld the green and orange together a bit more, such as orange gauntlets or the blades on his knees, it would really pop.

Ah yeah I see what you mean, great suggestion perhaps I'll change his right knee and blade to orange, the plan was to make all the dark eldar models a differ mix of orange and green to give them a more chaotic look compared to the orderly clean look of eldar.

Thanks for your feedback, very helpful! What's your thoughts on the colour combos? (I'm colourblind so have been know to get things 'wrong') eldar will be predominantly turquoise/blue with green and orange accents. The purple grey is there to join them under the ynnari banner.

For someone who's colourblind your colour choices are exceptional they work really nicely together.

I like the idea of making the DEldar a bit more patchwork with their colours. Definitely fits their character compared to the ascetic Craftworlders.

The paintwork is superb. Don't love the colour choices, but you're damn good with a brush.

Thanks for all the comments. I know it's a bit different but feel the orange really brightens the Dark Eldar while still making them menacing. Was inspired by this paint scheme but went with the Incubi Darkness colour instead of the grey.
