So after picking up a couple of boxes of Dark Reapers for my new Ynarri list, I was messing around with some build ideas. I kept zeroing back in on this one. Funny thing was it doesn't even have Dark Reapers in it!

It feels like a pretty fun list that has a lot of options. The only thing I would need to get would be the Vypers and the Wraithfighters. I could null deploy with just the rangers on the board as bait. Really fragile but looks like a fun army to play. I'm going to proxy with Venoms and Razorwing Jetfighters before i invest any money or time into new paint jobs.

You don't need to take a Craftworld Warhost and I don't think you should, instead put the Warlocks and Farseer into a Seer Council formation (extra fluffy and you only need to buy another Farseer skyrunner), you could drop some bikes and vypers for the points needed. Then put the rest into a CAD.

As you haven't got the Vypers yet I wouldn't put EML on them, a cheap and effective way would be either double shuriken canons or just a bright lance both are 50pt configurations and are pretty good.

In addition to the above if you don't have the flyers and vypers instead take an Aspect host with min Dark Reaper squads with star shot missiles as you seem to be lacking weapons above strength 6.

This would look like Aspect Host + Seer Council + Ulthwe Strike force + CAD and this gives you flexibility to change things around in the CAD

So after mulling over what you have said I have came up with this as an alternative. I forgot to mention we play ITC rules, so three detachment/formation rule is in effect.

This solves my strength 8 problem and AA issues. I am going to try the EML's for the moment, I have been seeing a lot of flying creatures hearabouts and I want to keep them honest.

I think I can get games with this without being considered to cheesy, yet it's beardy enough to have a punchers chance to win. Plus I have 3 Razorwing Jetfighters gathering dust anyway.....
