The FAQ claimed that all models sold right now would get rules. They don't have rules now but they are sold by GW. So are they getting rules, or am I reading too much into this ?

Thats a damn good question for their facebook page

A question I was wondering too. They said "all models they sell". They can't go back on that now

Someone stick it on their FB page!

Result:

1. They errata the FAQ to correct this 'oversight'.
2. They pull the models from the website.
3. We win and get rules for them!

Dark Angels/Deathwing - just getting started!
Space Marines - Stark Crusaders 4500pts/PL244 (2700pts painted)
Eldar - Biel Tan 2000pts

Also, I hope they do. The silliness is what makes orks!

They're "temporarily out of stock" on the US site - are they getting pulled?

If they do then I can't wait to see what rules the Dark Eldar Prisoner models get.

Or what rules the 2 snotlongs with a shoota and a knocked out ork boy gets (or did GW stop selling that... I can't remember).

The prisoners can be objective markers, simple. I suppose likewise the downed Boy and Space Marine casualties.

I'd like too see the Goff Rockers get some rules. Maybe a wargear choice for a Boss, buffing him by amusing him at their silliness or stick em on a trukk to get the Boyz riled up?

This would be very amusing. I cannot say I would mind facing Trukks full of rockin' out Orks.

I like funny orks, but those Goff Rocker models push the silliness a little too far for my personal tastes.

It would be funny if they had a sort of "taunt" rule, where enemy units had to pass a leadership test not to shoot at them in an attempt to shut them up.

They could make them a sort of "Standard" unit/model that gives Leadership bonus to nearby Ork units.

I'm pretty sure the Orkz would prefer having the Beerboyz back though.

I like it that orks are both goofy and savage monsters, depending on perspective. From the perspective of the player there's a lot of stuff they do that is comical, and from the orks own perspective they're having fun and I imagine they find a lot of the stuff they do funny, but from the perspective of the other races they are horrifying murder machines.

I like the shokk attack gun model. I think it is really funny. I like to imagine orks would also laugh at a mek sucking up grots and then blowing himself up. A guardsman wouldn't see that though, he would see some flashing lights in the distance followed by the screams of his friends as they died horribly. He probably wouldn't see the mek blowing himself up either, as he would be too busy putting shot after shot into the bellowing green giant swinging a huge meat clever at his head.

I don't think they will zoggy, I reckon they forgot about some of the more obscure models for sale on their website before writing that all produced models will get rules.

I mention the Goff Rockers almost daily on their facebook page. I also push them for night goblins and squigs on their AoS page too.

They did just publish rules for Sly Marbo, so who knows what they are up to over there.

Quick correction -

Is my army still valid? They said "All current armies will be supported with new rules."

&

Can I still use all my models? They said "miniature we sell today will be usable in the new edition"

There's going to be many models on their site that become "out of stock" permanently. That "currently" in their FAQ is so ambiguous.

Sure. Some kind of inspiring presence would be nice. I should get them before they dissappear. Having them would be great for my diorama plans.
