So i got myself some Tempestus the other day and was wondering what sort of semi competitive list i could make with them and my existing ultramarines.

Tempestus list [note - special weapons undecided atm] = about 1000 once specials have been added [thinking mostly meltas or flamers]

2x Command Squad both with med pack + vox
2x 5 man scion squads both with commissioner and vox
2x taurox prime with dozer blades, storm bolter, smoke launchers, missile launchers + twin linked hot shot volley guns



So i need 1000 points for ultras - but i was also thinking maybe add another 2 Tauroxes for the command squads



Potential ultras list =

[for backing up Tempestus's]
2x landspeeder storms with 5 man scout squads [fairly standard loadout]

[firesupport section]
landraider [normal - 2x Tl Lascannons, TL heavy bolter, sponson mounted multimelta] with 5 man termy squad + [maybe] termy captain [2x chain fists, 3 powerfists, assault cannon, cyclone launcher, and powersword on captain.]
2x razorbacks with 5 or 6 man tac squads with launchers or meltas and sarges with plasma pistol/powersword

Suggestions my fellow gamers?

Note: i realise the points for the suggested ultras maybe a bit high atm, but point stripping can come a bit later once i figure out what im running]

If you are using Scions you should use the castellans formation . You can give them all obsec with coteaz and the entire squads come back to life on a 5+. I would just spam the squads in castellans as a back line disruption force.

Don't see any point in the taurox. SM has superior vehicles all around.
