Hey guys,

I've been playing 30k for about 8 months now and never played against an army that use seekers.

They are a bit expensive, but could be very effective in higher point games and or a gun line army coupled with sniper vets.

With marked for death you get preferred enemy on a juicy target like an enemies death star. They have implacable advance so still scoring. They have precision shots so can allocate where you want on a 6.

2 ammo types are pretty nasty.

scorpius rounds - range 24 str 5 ap 2 heavy 1, shred - reroll wound rolls - against terminators/primarch's, custodies.....

kraken bolt shells - range 30 str 4 ap 4 rapid fire - good against mechanicum

Have you ever used them or played against them? If so how did it go?

I haven't used them yet, but I have ordered a squad to make a unit. I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform.

I run a 5-man combi-plas team with my fists (on occasion a 10-man squad without combi).

BS: 6 with the bolt half, PE(Target unit) is amazing when paired with plas, and it's an all around fun squad,

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.
