Hi everyone, so about 2 months ago i purchased the 2 player box (cryx vs cygnar) and i think its time to upgrade a bit both armies so i can play bigger games between them. So what im looking for is to upgrade both armies at the same time, keeping the balance between them, any suggestion is welcome!
This are the lists:

Crix:

Warcaster Bane Witch Agathia
Slayer Heavy Warjack
Reaper Heavy Warjack
Deathripper light warjack
Bane Warrior Unit (10 models)

Cygnar :

Warcaster Major Beth Maddox
Ironclad Heavy Warjack
Lancer Light Warjack
Firefly Light Warjack
Stormguard Unit (10 models)

Note: i dont know yet if i understand well the point costs since i didnt pay attention to that, but i believe each army ir around 15 points each? if that then i like to upgrade each to around 40-50 points to have an idea .

I have both casters, but haven't really played them. But as far as expanding goes I would focus on the casters and what they like and get those things.

Other option if you like the jacks and not the casters is to find casters that like those units and get them, then expand from there.

Maybe not the exact answers you were looking for, but perhaps it will allow you to focus your search until others answer.

Im serious. Do it. My friends did. here was what they did
They Turned on of the Cryx Jacks into Malice(Or erebus, cant remember, maybe both
The Stormguard Unit was turned into Silverline Stormguard
Ironclad was turned Gallant
So, for around an extra 30$ onto the great deal of the starter kit, you got a decent sized army.
Also, UAs for all the units you got.
Yeah you got extra casters, but blegh, they where not really factored into the cost much.

Not a bad way to go.

I got the cryx and cygnar boxes when Mk3 came out and am planning on using them to create Gallant and Erebus (already had malice done)

And the rules for Bane Warriors are going to be updated and it might be worthwhile having a couple units. Though I'm not sure Agathia is the best caster to run them.

Once Dark Host (the bane theme) comes out in about a month or so she will be ok with it. The biggest benefit will be that she gets prowl along with her army. Otherwise, it'll let her save her feat to really jam her army/jacks further in.
