For me it's gonna be crock pot roast beef sandwiches. I marinated a 3-4 pound chuck roast in Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, wine and garlic the other night. This morning before I left for work I stuck it in the crock pot with some taters, carrots, onions and some water & onion soup mix and a lot of montreal steak seasoning. By the time I get home it will have been cooking for 10 hours. the meat just falls apart, perfect for sandwiches with lots of juice for dunking. Just gotta grab some rolls on the way home. We'll probably be having the leftovers for dinner tomorrow too.

What are you having for dinner tonight?

Backyard BBQ burgers. I buy cheap steak and the wife turns it into ground beef. I can't go back to regular ground beef patties now. Plus a nice bell pepper salad and a few dark beers. Mmmm... it's not even lunchtime here!

We've got the same issue. I am planning to make tacos/burritos/taco salad. Two days ago we had avocado burgers and child-safe (I.e. bland) guacamole nachos with bell peppers.

However, it's Friday night, so we may head to Metro Pointe for live music and second-rate customized pizza.

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

Im also a lover of crockpot roasts! My wife makes one where the ingredients are a packet of powdered ranch mix, a bunch of pepperchinos and its juices, annd....uh.... Crud theres one other ingredient but I cant think of it. Anywho that stuff is the cheesewhizz! I just had it for my birthday dinner a few nights ago. Crockpot food is awesome because you literally dump food into a bucket and forget about it till later lol

Chicken with Crumbs

Placed boned chicken breasts (8-10) pieces in buttered Pyrex dish. Mix 1 can cream of chicken soup with 1/2 cup white wine or sherry. Pour over chicken. Sprinkle with dry Pepperidge farm herbed stuffing. Drizzle with 4-6 tbsp melted butter. Bake at 350° 45-60 minutes.

Serve with rice, peas, and cranberry sauce.

Just making a half recipe, and skipping the cranberry sauce. Easy, good, and re-heats well.

Simple Crock Pot Roast

Items needed
-Roast
-Packet of Ranch Dressing (powder not salad dressing)
-Packet of Au Jus
-1 stick of butter

Place 2-3 pound Roast in crock pot then put packet of Au Jus and Ranch Dressing on top of roast then stick of butter on top of that. If you want you can put pepperoncinis on it as well at this point. Set crock pot to
low and let it go for seven hours. At seven hours you can put vegetables of your choice in, such as carrots and potatoes, then wait another hour. Boom simple dinner roast.

Because you don't share? Lol

I made guacamole from scratch while my roommate made tacos. Meaning he cooked some meat and I had to make my own tacos.

I love me some breakfast for dinner! Had omelets last night at our house. Diced red onion, bell pepper, Irish sausage and smoked Gouda, topped with a dollop of Crème Fraiche and chopped herbs. Nom, nom...

Tonight is gonna be veal parm night. And probably just some regular pasta on the side. I made the sauce last night outta grinded up fresh tomatoes. Always seems to taste better the next day, I guess the flavors all mix together better when it has time to rest.

Tonight was taco night. I’m all about borrowing other country’s celebrations as an excuse to cook something off my normal menu. Plus it’s my weekend with The Boy, and he loves tacos.

He prefers fajitas, but I can’t grill at my new place. /sad

I grilled up the chorizos we used yesterday evening when I grilled up the dolphin we ate. Kitchen still smells like freshly chopped cilantro and chorizo as I type this. Good stuff!

One of my favorite things is how my hands smell like Cilantro after I chop up a bunch for Guacamole. Now I'm hungry...
