That's a pretty low miniature count in your army. I usually dont use formations at 1000 pts, but if you want to, you could try this set up (which will require wyldwoods):
Treelord Ancient: Oaken armor & Gnarled warrior & regrowth >>> 2+ rerollable save that ignores rend -1. regrowth because your opponent *will* save up his unbind rolls just to be sure your ancient cant heal himself up. (always cast regrowth as your last spell)
Branchwych 1: acorn & treesong. >>> Treesong can move forests but will also automatically "activate" that forest. note that you may still regularly roll if the forest activates. acorn because treesong-synergy and because every sylvaneth army should have their pocketforest.
Branchwych 2: throne of vines & ranus lamentiri. >>> throne will cost you one casting attempt in your first round, but after that, casting everything with 1d3+1 on your roll REALLY helps to get that much needed spell where you want it to go.
If you use this set-up, remember wych 1 can move wych 2 around, even if throne of vines is active.
Gnarled warrior and oaken armor can be a good combo, but if your opponents start to ignore your ancient all the time you may want to change armor to briarsheath. the ancient wants to be the tank, that doesnt work if he is just beeing ignored because there are much more jucier targets on the board.
