Here it is!

Looks pretty good too!

Do we know the name of S. Weaver's character - and by that, I mean here villain code name?

Who is she supposed to be?

Looks good to me.

However, the Hand will definitely be a big part of things.

I am unsure if this is a good thing.

I think Stick'd wipe the floor with all four of them.

And Weaver's character is named Alexandra. That's all we know.

My secret fortress at the base of the volcano!

So... Elektra? That *was* Elektra in the coffin and in the hallway kicking Daredevil through a wall, right?

I'm pretty 'bleh' on the Hand being the baddies in this. They made perfect sense for Daredevil, given his interactions with them in the comics, and zero sense for anybody else. Especially Iron Fist. His show would've been 37% better if the arc villains hadn't been the Hand.

Not excited to see another Hand-focused storyline.

Emperor's Eagles (undergoing Chapter reorganization)
Caledonian 95th (undergoing regimental reorganization)
Thousands Sons (undergoing Warband re--- wait, are any of my 40K armies playable?)

I likewise struggle to take the Hand seriously (I blame The Tick)

Thing is the are kind of 'cheap' baddies, no expensive powers or CGI needed, plus they are kind of easy to explain (basically Evil Corp with Ninja's) to wider audience

The shows haven't exactly had massive budgets. That's why they went with heroes that don't have expensive CGI powers. Even Iron Fists isn't particularly impressive for CGI. We only saw the world through Murdocks eyes what, once? For about 5 seconds?

So of course they're going to go with a villain with the same limits.

I believe you mean if EVERYONE hadn't been the Hand. Seriously, were I Ironfist, I would have introduced myself, then punched whoever it was on principal. I think the list of people not the hand was.... Claire, and the axe gang, maybe. And technically- you could even say she was trained by those jerks!

More seriously, I can understand the challenge of writing for this. Your only low power opposition so far are weapons dealers and drug lords, and arguably the superhuman military experiments, though I'm not sure if they're after, or even interested in Jessica Jones- potentially that could be a loose thread from the Purple Man. The power level must stay below notice of the many movie super heroes. My hope is they either invert their structure, and ramp up from the Hand to Fisk, or end up forcing a team up with Fisk against the Hand, leaving the Defenders in an uneasy truce and a mostly legitimate Kingpin in charge of New York. Either way, I'd love for the Hand to be the mooks in this series- they've been beaten too often to be big bads now. They're starting to look like Team Rocket.

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleyways and mugs them for loose grammar.

Plot Twist: They're saving all the budget from all 4 shows to make Fing Fang Foom the ultimate Big Bad of The Defenders.
