Anyone else feel like the Dakka Swap Shop forum should be broken up into two separate forums? One for Swaps & the other for Shops? It seems like the majority of threads posted there are really just people trying to sell off their unwanted stuffs or linking to their ebay listings. I think it would be a lot easier for anyone looking to trade if they didn't have to sift through all the sales posts to find other traders. Or for buyers trying to find sellers. That's all.

If I recall correctly, it was considered back in the days, but ultimately the decision was made to just keep it to the one forum given the relative amount of traffic we get in the Swap Shop here on Dakka.

The hope was that the title formats implemented would help make skimming through convenient and easy enough to be able to, in a glance, determine if a thread was for a swap or for sales.

Perhaps if traffic picks up in the Swap Shop in the future, we'd be willing to give it a second consideration.

Thanks for the comment, though!
