Hello all,

McDougall Designs needs your help. We have 3 new base textures in development but want to focus on them one at a time.

Naturally we want to first make what the community as a whole wants! So we are coming to you with a poll. Choose our next product release.

The choices are:

1. Double diamond metal plate base: a perfect base for sci Fi troops, this would represent the flooring of a starship or industrial area.

2. Town cobblestones bases: perfect for a dungeon delving adventuring party or an army themed around a city.

3. Cracked plateau bases: these bases would be available in three sub types of painted product as well as the usual primed varieties.

A) volcanic plateau: black grey rock with firey lava running in the seams.

B) glacier ice: cracking under the pressure of your armies boots and featuring cool blues and whites in it's color scheme.

C) desert mesa: dry, cracked land featuring earth tones.

And of course keep up to date with our news thread in the news and rumors section:

I collect:

Grand alliance death (whole alliance)

Stormcast eternals

Slaves to Darkness - currently Nurgle but may expand to undivided.

Towering Hierophant Bio-Titan

Town cobblestone is the only one that hasn't been done to death, it's still been done quite alot though.
I'd be most interested on quite how you did those as they can be really hit and miss from other companies.

Oli: Can I be an orc?
Everyone: No.
Oli: But it fits through the doors, Look!

A combination of sculpting to fix details and greenstuff world rolling pins. I make sure every piece I make conforms to a quality standard before I send it in an order.

Also, I have discussed things with GSW and I am to sell my work. Hence why I decided to create a low cost base service.

I consider myself the basing equivalent of those who sell premade hirst arts molds pieces.

I will be offering the double diamond plate bases in 3 styles:

Blued steel
Blackened steel
Copper with oxidization

This is in addition to the usual primed varieties.

Oh, I see. Looks like I kinda missed the point here.
Looks like you're just deciding which roller to buy next.
Could you contact GSW and ask which is their best seller, that'd be a good bet imo.

Just do all three.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

This is not completely the point. I have the rollers. I'm trying to ask the community which they like to see first before I invest money into materials to make product.
