So I am getting back into 40K because Genestealer Cult. I have combined two Deathwatch boxes, Space Hulk box, some stuff from EBAY. Anyone want to buy one set of Deathwatch Marines?

So under the current Genestealer codex this gives me:

Patriarch, level 2 psyker + familiar (125)

24 generation 1&2 hybrids with lazpistols, autopistols (192)

I do all this and immediately GW says "New Rules." Right about when I howl like a mashed cat they say, "we'll buy back your codex. You keep it." So I had just bought Genestealers (nice codex) and Tyranids to the tune of $94.00. So I will have that voucher to spend at GW.

Decision: I was considering purchasing a whole squadron of Leman Russ tanks...
or flesh out more specialist infantry. (If I do this I want some Arbites neophytes so I can call "911" like in Dredd 3D).
or buy a Tyranid detachment full of flying creatures.

Any thoughts?

With 8th being so close I would wait to see what the Force Charts look like before trying to expand your army. I just bought a box of Neos to start my SWA GSC Army (using a GK Codex Voucher). Who knows, maybe Tyranids will turn out to be a more viable ally this time around.
