I would suggest bringing any of the medium ap weapons, nothing really meant for power armor, but seeing as orks can usually span 4+-5+ saves. You're only use for high strength weapons would be to deny FNP rolls if he has a painboy, or any kind of Doc unit for that matter.
Gaunts are useful against Orks in the numbers that you're going to be running. Though if you can run a Carnofex, or anything that can fire a pie plate generally is good enough seeing as its ap is normally good enough to deny any kind of save an Ork can even dream of putting up.
On the up side you have more then enough shooting power to keep armies at a distance, and as long as he is focusing you're gaunts then you should do just fine. If he brings anything ridiculous like a meca-nob squad in a transport, then you may have an issue. Though forcing them to tarpit with a gaunt brood will basically keep them out of the fight for nearly every turn of the match.
You're biggest threat IMO would be from a commando squad, or from lootas. The amount of Dakka that can come out of one loota squad is enough to cause worry, even if they couldn't hit a lake while falling out of the boat. Flash gits would be the same, if they didn't have to stay planted for most of the match as well. ICs would be a problem as well, but if he runs them in a squad then you are going to have a big juicy target to lay all of that ranged madness into.
Just pick you're targets wisely, and hope you can get the initiative.
Any other questions?
