Noob question but I can't find an answer.

How high is the volume of effect of the large templates? If a trooper is hit at the base of a wall is another trooper on the roof within the blast area?
Is it for example a cylinder 5" in diameter infinitely high or 5" high?
Or is it a 5" sphere centred on the target?

I normally paly it so it only effects the targeted level.

But cannot remember if there is an official rule in the book

I don't think it explictly says in the rule book (may be wrong), but we also play single level
