What do you want for your army in 8th?

Seeing as GW are bending over backwards to tell us Berzerker's are "fixed", my hope is they are telling the truth.

Centurions are cool. Why do people hate them so much?

Sudden inclusion out of flippin no where. also i probably should take a gander at their fluff but i dont understand how they fit in with the codex organization. are they like bikes in that units can take them when needed for specific missions and why are they in 3s and 6s. not that i dont mind exo skeletons for your exo skeletons for specific war time needs.

Decent assault.
I'd also hope for GW to stop it's "no rules without model" policy, but that's a fool's dream.

Want to help support my plastic addiction? I sell stories about humans fighting to survive in a space age frontier.

I'll second the desire for decent assault. Which policy do you mean though?

(Dark eldar) Being relevant in the game background but i'm not holding my breath, not having my faction get squatted, new models for a next codex instead of re-made ones (excepting the void raven which we already technically had), don't gut all the characters of dark eldar and maybe not sucking aside from a few units only mildly sucking.

Post Chapter House Lawsuit, GW started removing equipment, wargear, and even whole units and special characters if there wasn't a model they made to represent them. The best example being the tyranid spore pod, which had been removed for a while until they finally came out with the Mycetic Spore model.

This is good for people who just want to use whatever GW gives them, it's annoying for people like me who'd be will to got the extra distance to covert stuff. In particular I've love it if the mek/Big Meks finally got a tellporta option as a wargear. But since they're probably not going to release a new Mek kit anytime soon, it won't happen.

Edit: I mean Tyrannocyte model, my bad

on the bright side if FW is being brought more mainstream as everything seems to indicate, that'll make things a bit better as FW'll be able to introduce new bits and bling and publish rules updates. 8th moving to a more living rules set will make that a LOT easier

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

Here's what I want.
• The release of Fir- it don't need to write the whole thing, you know what I mean.
• Every army to have viable builds.
• Tau to be made fun to play against.
• End to the M A X I M U M C O P Y R I G H T naming policy.
• Revocation of the "No model no rules" policy.

I want GW to finally understand that the Dark Eldar should be about a bit of trickery and flair. Currently, their codex is about as blunt as the Ork codex, despite all the fancy language surrounding the descriptions of what the weapons do. Our most common unique special rule is "does not work on space marines."

Give them some tricks. Dark Eldar are the campy evil bond villain genius faction of 40k. Since their relaunch, they've been pretty much locked into just assaulting you with a wall of poison.

The faction focus solely revealing concrete but generally unsurprising stats was disappointing to me. I would've much preferred general descriptions on all the exciting new ways the dark eldar will be shooting up and hacking up their prey.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"
