Yeah for the past couple weeks I haven't seen any of the wave 11 stuff, not even in the development section, like with past waves. Wonder what kind of shananighans
they are up too. Any one have any idea whats going on? Wasn't the release date supposed to be June?

Yeah from what i understood, the release date was suppose to be June-ish.

i wonder if they've had some negative feedback from the community about the choice of ships to be released and have potentially gone back to the drawing board....

I doubt they'd have made a full article and then backtrack on it.

That sounds like a GW move... ahahahahah... geez I'm killing it.

No, FFG is not going to cancel an entire wave just because some internet comments were less enthusiastic than they might have liked. They might push to try to get another wave/aces box/whatever ready and announced to reassure the unhappy customers that better stuff is coming, but at this point 99% of the work on wave 11 is already done so they might as well release it. There are two plausible reasons here: either there were major unanticipated problems (license issues, manufacturing delays, etc) that have pushed the wave back, or the boring truth is that someone just forgot to add it to the website.

Who said anything bad about the wave 11 stuff?

I was pretty stoked for the H-6 and Tie Aggressor. And I mean the Auzituck doesn't float my boat, but I'm sure people like it, and it is a wookie ship.

Plenty of people. I know I'm completely underwhelmed by it, the H-6 is the only remotely interesting ship in there. The TIE aggressor is another bottom of the barrel TIE design instead of the assault gunboat, and the auzituck is both ugly and boring. Honestly, the main reason I want to see more wave 11 news is that the faster FFG gets done with wave 11 the faster they can move on to the next wave, which will hopefully be more interesting.

I'm with Peregrine, its only really the bomber that I'm interested in, and even then mostly for a funsies Scum bomb list with Emon, and more bomb choices for Miranda and Sabine

What?! How on earth (or Space) can you not be interested in more quad TLT goodness, the most fun aspect of this glorious game, you don't even have to think!

Hey, at least now Imperial players can pull that card too. On 3 green dice ships, no less. One more thing Imps are better at that everyone else.

I agree, though, that apart from the Scurgg, I can't wait for something else. Maybe that explains why I am so disproportionately stoked for the new wave of Ermader ships.

I get that Imp turts is a thing but I rarely play imps so not keen on buying 4 to replicate a game experience I can have with existing Y-Wings / HWK (well the Scum ones)

Well sue me the Tie aggressor is a dead sexy design in my book.

How long does it usually take for stuff to get from the printer to the shelves?

I must admit I haven't really kept up with that in the past...

According to the X-wing Wiki (http://xwing-miniatures.wikia.com/wiki/X-Wing_Miniatures_Wiki), 4-8 months from first announcement to shelves. I am not sure for printers to shelves, but if I recall correctly it has similar variation.

Well in that case we probably won't be seeing Wave 11 until August at the earliest then, given they were announced back in March.

I can't really complain too much given I'm going to be tight on hobby money for June and likely July.

What the strange thing is, we haven't seen a preview for much of it.

Yeah we had that initial announcement back when the images started hitting the web and that's it.

Which is a shame, I really want to know what the Bomb Generator and Intensity do.

Well, Armada Wave 6 was announced at a similar time, and we only just got a preview for that, so I would not be surprised to get X-wing previews in the next week or two.

But the Armada Wave 6 has been on the boat since March. So that's what they mean when they say "slow-boat."
