Hey man, great stuff! I love the names haha.
The scheme works really well, looks good on all the minis. I especially like Spawn of Whatsit the Broodlord, the colours came out really well on him. Even your humble Hormagaunts look satisfying in large groups

Ahhhhhh, Think you may have just solved a problem, yes they are missing something, did wonder on trying to make them look "wet", but don't want to do just a spray gloss varnish.

Think you may have hit it for the claws and teeth though, just 'something' without it being too much.

Do like the Raveners, there are a pair of metal ones here (somewhere) to go with them but I like the plastic ones more.

There is one of the brainy ones around somewhere but don't have a picture of him.

Main purpose was to have them done decently fast for a horde army, but in a way I can go back later.

First idea was two yellow stripes, either side of the ridge on the armour, may be a bit much but a muted yellow may work. have to have a think

Very nice but I'd agree they are missing a nice spot color. The green on the Zoanys works great, maybe more of that?
