Could be a solid little ship.

Random thoughts:

First, it's not a little ship. It's a medium one.

That front arc is huge. The Class II will have a great time hunting squadrons with that thing. Coupled with the fact that you can potentially activate 5 of them at long range, you can completely shut down the opponent's squadron game.

Pursuant title is great, because it leaves your officer slot open for something else. 2 pts? Yes please.

Stronghold is insane. Lowly TIEs are now potentially a lot more durable. And don't have to be used just as a screen, because you can still activate up to five of them and fling them at a poor victim.

Sloane... is insane. Sure, you'll still come up with some crits from time to time, but this will make something else than the Rhymerball punishing, and will actually encourage your fighter screen to go hunt other fighters and whittle them down. With this ship, you could really just punish a well crafted balance of unique squadrons with brute force. Combined with Howlrunner's extra dice, and "swarm"s reroll, this is going to be very taxing. And she is cheap!

Boarding Troopers are a nice trick, but they'll need to be on another ship if you are intent on using your fighters to destroy ships. I feel like using a Quasar Fire in that role is counter-productive. But a Raider... oh my. And it's a cheap ship that can still pound the victime next turn. If you're not loading your ISD or VSD with upgrades, you might as well, just in the hopes of getting a clean shot on the enemy. It's not expensive, they have good Squadron values, you can bank a token...

Disposable Capacitors are going to solve the VSD problem once and for all. You'll get your multi-dice volley even at long range, and by the next turn you'll get it because you've closed the range. Rebels are going to have to give you an even wider berth, and it might not be tenable anymore.

Grand Inquisitor is always good, because Command Dials and Tokens are really the meat of this game, the prime resources, and if you can change speed once per turn at will, then yeah. Great. Very cheap for 4 points.

I'm buying at least one copy of this bad boy. This might make me want to play Imperial really, really hard.

Edited. ISD cannot take the capacitors. Much to my chagrin.

Looks fun. I wanna try:

Quasar I
Stronghold
Rapid Launch Bays
(Expanded Hanger Bays?)
Flight Coordinators
Flight Commanders

Load it up with Howlrunner and a couple interceptors, and go to town (especially in a Sloan list).

Ha nice one Mathieu.

My first thought for the cruiser was to have extended hanger plus rapid launch but I'm now starting to think that maybe long range com plus the hanger would be a better fit.

I was originally thinking the Capacitors would work well on the Interdictor since it is a ship heavy on blue.

The Inq I was also considering on the interdictor coupled with the Grab one that drops the speed, can't remember the name of it.

Yeah, I think that capacitors will really excel on 4 ships:

Victory II
Interdictor
Quasar I
Raider

Vic gets to bring its full battery to bear a turn earlier, Interdictor gets a big boost to long range, and the Quasar and Raider get something for long-ranged shooting. Nothing Rebels have really strikes me as wanting it, except maybe the Command Pelta.

Imagine an Interdictor Combat Retrofit with the Inquisitor, Capacitors and Phylon Q7 tractor beams. Add in the G-8 projectors for giggles, and an Engineering Team.

You can fine tune a target's speed and position in order to get two good turns of shooting at it, with 4 dice on the same target if you're lucky, twice. And those blue dice love to come up as accuracies...

Commande Pelta, and in an ideal world The ASK Mark 1. In an ideal world.

This is pretty much what I had in mind minus the tractor beams.

Why not add them? It's going to be more versatile.

See I base most of my builds on what I currently have in card form. Though I have been seriously eyeing off the ISD for that awesome looking model

For the Assault Frigate Mark II A I would consider it a "Maybe" option, if I have points, just because there is only one other offensive retrofit that doesn't have to do with squadrons. Could be fun to try with the Paragon title, but I think that that is more of a gimmick than anything else.
