I'm just interested whether or not Forgeworld stuff is still on the table. I play orks and chaos, and gosh damn do a lot of my armies rely on Forgeworld list.

Will it be merged into 8e? Will it be removed until Forgeworld updates? Will it always be in limbo? Find out more on the next edition of Warhammer Community.

Independent characters have been somewhat covered already.
There was a mention somewhere that GMC don't exist anymore.

If you include small factions like assassins, you can add Harlequins and MT. Inquisition and Ynarri also didn't get a faction focus. But I'm not sure we'll see them.

At this point I'm mostly wondering about poison and haywire. Both will have to be changed drastically. I don't think we'll get a focus on either, but the info might get released as a not in a faction focus or another rule focus.

They did address superheavies and GCs by saying that anything that used to be one is now just a "thing", same as everything else. "Unit type designators" in the sense that they've existed before don't really exist anymore.

They said all FW models will get rules day 1.

I'm guessing we have at least two more passes through the melee and ranged weapons. We may have a vehicles 3 to talk about what's different between them and everything else.

Considering mission types can apparently mean a full article for specific scenarios, they could likely stretch it quite a bit if they want to. Today already felt like some major "we need to space out the things people care about".

As they always should have been. They are literally generic Karskin with another name.

They will be, probably with a Organization Chart of full Elites or something like that.

I feel you brother, it was cool having a Helldivers-esque army. They had a distinct feel as a spec-ops elite human army that wasn't marines or SoB so it's a pity that they didn't try fleshing them out more like they did with the mini-factions of Deathwatch or GSC. Fingers crossed they exist as a standalone army.

I know it's some serious power armor privileged, but I'd like to see faction focus on some non-vanilla SM chapters--Wolves and Angels both Blood and Dark.

EDIT: I should read the entire line of a list.

The eldar have gotten two faction focuses, so I don't think it unreasonable to expect a second marine focus. We will probably get one before we get to the really interesting stuff like Necrons, or ad mech.

At the rate they're going they won't hit all the factions before the rumored date. Also they already did ICs.

With 27 days left until the rumoured launch, a faction focus every three days leaves time for another nine. If you squash all the marine sub factions into one article, that is plenty.
I expect a day for each of the books they are launching, a day doing the Deathguard in the way they did primaris, and several days covering the starter set.
I am expecting more than one day on key words and synergies.
