If you think your important, in the great scheme of things. Do the water test.

Put your hands in a bucket of warm water,
then pull them out fast. The size of the hole shows how important you are.
I think we should roll some dice, to see if we should roll some dice, To decide if all this dice rolling is good for the game.

It was down for me too. I'm going to guess that Lego was doing his thing.

H.B.M.C.- The end hath come! From now on armies will only consist of Astorath, Land Speeder Storms and Soul Grinders!
War Kitten- Vanden, you just taunted the Dank Lord Ezra. Prepare for seven years of fighting reality...
koooaei- Emperor: I envy your nipplehorns. <Magnus goes red. Permanently>
Neronoxx- If our Dreadnought doesn't have sick scuplted abs, we riot.
Frazzled- I don't generally call anyone by a term other than "sir" "maam" "youn g lady" "young man" or " HEY bag!"
Ruin- It's official, we've ran out of things to talk about on Dakka. Close the site. We're done.
mrhappyface- "They're more what you'd call guidlines than actual rules" - Captain Roboute Barbosa
Steve steveson- To be clear, I'd sell you all out for a bottle of scotch and a mid priced hooker.

Indeed it was for some.

Apologies, should all be sorted now.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

We are migrating to a new, more powerful server over the next 12 days or so, so might be a bit hiccupy over that period.

And on that day dakkanet was born and the war against the unpainted legions began.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

On the subject of unpainted legions is the gallery upload broken for anyone else?

gallery upload will work in about 4 hours, articles will work in about 1 day. The rest of the site is coming up a bit at a time, but I still have a few reboots ahead of me as I continue updating and moving bits.

thanks, they should be good now, just the articles system that is broken to my knowledge. The search engine also only has 20% of posts but rebuilding that will take a few days and is not a big deal.

Not where I should be

Possibly related, and by no means a problem for me, everything I upload at present is automatically put to "voting disabled" even when I specify allow. Once on the system and after all upload bits and pieces, I can change it. Just wondering if this is a thing, or just me being a numpty.

I'm finding the site is running slower than normal today (generally browsing the site) which is presumably some sort of holdover from the weekend server change

it's not unusably slow but hopefully things will speed up again soon
