If you were to prepare an army of either Night Lords, Death Guard, or Imperial Fists for the upcoming release of 8th edition, which would you pick, (obviously) taking appearance and lore into consideration.

probably Death Guards as they are going to get some nice new models. Couldn't do Fists as I don't want to paint any more yellow right now!

Death Guard is a big one with all the new models and Mortarion, but Night Lords are my favourite Chaos legion...

Death guard are getting new models so that is a plus. But night lords are also pretty cool. Both legions would be very interesting to paint, with the super corroded death guard or the lightning boys of the night lords. So you really can't go wrong with either

Definitely Night Lords (as I am currently starting a build of them). Next to Thousand Sons, they are my favorite Traitor Legion. Their fluff as the Emperor's 'Enforcers' is cool, the idea that they use fear as an actual weapon is intriguing as well.
It'll be pricey, but I'm going to use these models - http://evilcraft.eu/ - to do it.

If I were to do Death Guard, I'd use the Betrayal at Calth models with the 30k DG paint scheme. I've already painted some Night Lords, and although the lightning gets a bit tiresome after a while, the end result is usually worth it.

If I was gonna use pre heresy armor marks I'd proably go with MK3 over MK4

Come on, Night Lords all the way!
- They look amazing with the Skull Helmets (bat ears optional  ) and lightning dashed armour.
- There fluff is amazing and the Night Lord's series was one of 40k's best book series.
- In 8th ed, with the changes to moral and combat, these fear inducing bad asses are gonna tear through everything!
I'm putting together my Night Lords army for 8th and I can't wait!
