Possibly my favorite paint job for my Khorne BB army, the second model i painted from the set and the one that set the tone for me and infused me to go to town filling of the army.

the paint job is great.
let down though with the gaps on the back of the left arm & the front of the right leg. if you used the brush-on plastic glue then do a thorough after the glue has fully set, you might get a better platform.

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

Awesome, gives me major Doom 1 vibes

Agreed about the gaps though, gotta seal those up! There's a really obvious one running down the lower bac- ohh, right.

Thanks, and yes I've been meaning of fixing the gaps since I primed it but mix of laziness stopped me then it was kinda fear of ruining the paint job, now I'm happier to go back and do I as I have faith that I can do a good job. Even though I've played/collected for a long(loooong) time I have a pathetic amount of painted stuff, AoS has helped me really get going again/first time/properly. Thanks for the feed back and check out the blog if you like the looks https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/725581.page I'll pop up some shots with the gaps filled.

Indeed I will get on it asap a put some shots up on the blog page. Gross as it is I love painting nasty stuff like 'lower backs' on narly monsters it's has a grim hilarity that appeals to me lol.

Nice!
It looks much better than I thought possible for that model.
That may sound grumpy, but I really dig your job on this!

It makes me want to build and paint the one I have stoved away in a box somewhere, for what its worth.

Not at all height of complimentary if I make a ugly model good (a fetish of mine, I bought the wrathmunger/skull reapers kit for just that reason as they are very ugly imo lol)not everyone can like every model, personnelly I like this messy beast but just not in a red leather gimp suit I hope it does inspire you - because that inspires me

Ps:
To anyone who is looking I just add a chaos dwarf proxy/conversion(minor) to my paint n modelling blog. See OP for link.
