Hey all, after a fair amount of thought I decided to go with this for my first 2k AoS list. Any advice would be great, especially with artefact selection as I'm still way up in the air about that.

Leader:
Lord of change - 300
Herald of tzeentch - 120
Tzaangor shaman - 120

Battle line:
Pink horrors x 10 - 140
Pink horrors x 10 - 140
Pink horrors x 10 - 140

Other:
Flamers x 3 - 200
Tzaangor skyfires x 6 - 320
Tzaangor skyfires x 6 - 320
Blue horrors x 10 - 50

Battalions:
Daemon cohorts of tzeentch - 120

Total 1970/2000

Last 30 pts are to pump out more horrors.
Again help with artefacts is awesome, general advice is always welcome as well.

Blue Horrors are 50 points, and brimstones are 40 points so you wouldn't be able to use the last 30 points to summon more horrors.

I should have explained. I mean to keep the one squad of blues I have near he pinks to dump dead pinks into blue horrors(can make 6 of them with 30 pts) to add to my blue squad. And if blue have taken damage (they should as they will be fighting alongside pinks) just gives me a little extra spillover in case pinks die with an already full squad. I don't mean to summon another squad, just split into my already existing one. Or did I misunderstand how split works (40k player converting over so I fully admit I might have misread it)?

But assuming thats the only criticism you have, i'll take it as a compliment to the list?

I'm a 40k player converting as well. I've only played a few games so far, so I can't really comment on the viability of your list but it looks pretty decent.

As for that last 30 points I'm still not sure what you mean to do with them. To summon a new unit using the summoning rules you'd need that unit's points in your summoning pool of points (30) and no unit costs less than 40 points in the Tzeentch list. As for the Split rule every time a Pink Horror dies it becomes two Blue Horrors. if there isn't a BH unit around to attach them to they just become a new unit of two BHs. Now when a BH dies it becomes a Brimstone horror.

The Split rule however has nothing to do with those 30 points if that's what you meant. So basically every PH can become two BHs at no additional cost in points.

Only if they're added to an existing unit of Blue Horrors that are not at their starting strength. Otherwise they do cost Reinforcement Points.

Oh, my bad then. I was only going off of the rule written on the BH warscroll and some discussion I've read here. Ghaz, is that from a FAQ that I missed?

No, it's from the wording for Reinforcement Points.

So was I right thinking I could use the 30 pts for splitting? I'm confused now xD

Automatically Appended Next Post:
My main concern is the lack of melee presence. Not sure how well I can deal with bum rushes.
