Hi all,

Looking at starting up a nid kill team for Shadow war. Found some great tutorials on magnetizing warrior arm options though what size magnets do folks recommend for this?

I plan on buying a lot as long term I plan at least 3 units of warrior for 8th, if more, plus I want to get a box of raveners and magnetize them.

So i plan on buying a lot of said size for all weapon options.

I also need to know this! I also need to know what width to use on tyrgon, hive tyrant and carnifex. Sry for hijacking your thread Skerr!

Double devourers might not be the go to any longer...

I've magnetised warriors with 2x1mm neodymiums. Held perfectly well.


Edit:
Never done the really big gribblies, but I did a carnifex and from memory I used 8x4mm for that which was MASSIVE overkill.

Did all my my first edition (metal and plastic) warriors with 3mm x 2mm magnets. Have not done the big boys yet.

I used 4x2mm on my Carnifex. Holds devourers and scything talons fine. Not tried the bigger bio cannons yet.
