I want to start collecting the Horus Heresy novels. There are the three omnibuses, which seem like a good option. However, I'd much rather collect each individual novel because I like the unique cover art and such. Problem is, there are gaps in availability on BL's site. For instance, Galaxy in Flames (book 3) isn't available in paperback. IDK if it's out of print or just out of stock. BL doesn't tell you. What's the point in amassing a book collection just to have gaps?

I want to ask any of you long time BL customers what you make of this. Will Galaxy in Flames be back in print?

Also, how often does BL reprint old classics? I ended up buying used copies of both the Eisenhorn and Gotrek and Felix omnibuses at $60+ each, which both came in horrible condition. No more rolling the dice with used books lol. What is the likelihood of the Last Chancers series, for instance, coming to paperback?

I've generally found that BL books are pretty available either through amazon or your local used book stores. I know that I can pick up the early HH books at my local store for $3/4 each.

The only exception to this has been the last Guants Ghost book,Salvations Reach, which I have never seen used and only have seen it for $30+ on Amazon

I've seen a bunch BL books show up in libraries actually. Reprinting happens ever so often. Eisenhorn was recently reprinted. I wish they'd reprint some old Necromunda books.

His pattern of returning alive after being declared dead occurred often enough during Cain's career that the Munitorum made a special ruling that Ciaphas Cain is to never be considered dead, despite evidence to the contrary.

Always go 2nd hand first. I got Legion and Deliverance Lost both for under $25 AUD on ebay. I also got Purging of Kadillus and Hunt for Voldorius for $4 AUD each from my local op shop.

Buying stuff from BL is expensive beyond all belief.

Amazon is your best bet for getting books, if they don't have them, then you can find them on eBay.

I'm a collector myself, started a long time ago, when Black Library was starting out. I get my paperbacks from Amazon, cheaper then BL, you just have to wait a while before it comes out on paperback, unless you want the larger paperback version, which comes out a few months after the hard back. BL does hard backs, then a large paperback, then the mass market paperback. I get the mass market paperbacks myself, take less room.

Some of the older books are getting a fresh publishing, they are doing them random I think, so no clue what will come back and what won't.
