I am returning to 40k after 3 years out due to personal reasons. I saw the preview for 8th edition and saw it as a sign for my return. I had a vanilla marines army before but always wanted to run a Deathwing based army. Ive been thinking of running a few troops to start the game (which co-incides with 8th edition reserves rule) and the rest Deathwing.

Thats the overall flavour of the army. Has anyone ran an army similar to this? Not looking for super competitive, just a fun army to play
