Morning everybody, I hope you are all having a nice bank holiday weekend. I have been watching several people playing Ynnari on different YouTube channels and I have seen many different interpretations of the rules. I am just seeking some clarification. I understand that people might use different rule applications at home, but I just want the official take on the ‘soul burst’ rule when playing in tournaments.

Can unit’s ‘soul burst’ from open top vehicles?

For example a Dark Eldar venom – If the answer is no - I see people using the ‘soul burst’ rule on units of Eldar Windriders and Dark Eldar Reavers; do these units not utilise jet bikes, which I though were a skimmer type vehicle / transport?

Can somebody elaborate?

A unit cannot Soulburst whilst embarked on a vehicle, open topped or otherwise. Bikes can soulburst as they are their own unit type.
