So Gabriel Angelos is getting a model. This'll probably come with some fancy chapter rules for the good old Ravens. The only ideas I have that sound good are the ability to take other Chapter's relics and/or buy Captains/Chapter Masters (yes they have one but the Ultramarines do as well and they can take one) some psychic mastery.

Your missing a HUGE question, will they fall under loyalist or Heretic?

Personally, I thi8nk they should get a bonus to deny the witch to show that they are all psychic (to an extent, per their fluff) and then maybe Hatred(Chaos)

clearly they should also benefit from a rule called
Steel Rehn: units arriving from reserves may make defensive deepstrikes and can be placed at least 3" away of an enemy model

Loyalist; the taint of the Chapter has been purged as of the end of Retribution.

40K would be a lot more interesting if certain Chapters and armies had access to unique units. A Blood Ravens Librarian Cohort would do nicely...

Well he was pummeled into molten stone face first by a Daemon Prince.

Nah, the sculptor definitely slipped. His face looks nothing like the DOW3 portrait. Frankly it looks terrible.

Yup. I feel like his glory days as a character are mostly gone though; I don't mind his new look in Terminator Armour, wielding Godsplitter and plenty of scars too, but I think this model looks absolutely terrible, the face being far above the worse thing about it. Where is that mega grumpy portrait expression he has in DOW3?

Hopefully some psychic buffs if they really are TS successors as alleged...

They aren't known for any particular psychic speciality, other than just having a much larger cadre of Librarians who can serve as unit commanders or Chapter Masters. Being able to take more Librarians or having access to a special Librarian squad seems most appropriate.

my guess is GW'll go the lkazy route and just say they use Ultramarines chapter tactics.

course another approuch is to just give Angelos <chapter> instead of a specific chapter and let people choose what chapter tactics to give him

They did pull the Blood Raven Transfer sheet at the start of the year, so its quite possible. I know I would buy in an instant.

For me as a Blood Ravens player its quite a mixed bag. On one hand I'm happy to finally get a model and maybe some rules and shoulder pads, but at the same time, the model is somewhat derpy, and I already have a count-as Gabriel Angelos (Arjac Rockfist model, Darnath Lysander Rules, check it out here
