So, I've often sort of overlooked Khorgoraths, but since the new Blades of Khorne book, their damage increase makes them seem pretty pokey. And then I thought of adding a unit of them into an army with a Gore Pilgrim Battalion.

Imagine a unit of 3 Khorgoraths, all getting the +1 to hit prayer and +1 save prayer and getting extra attacks from the Secrator...

18 attacks, 2+/3+, -1 rend, 2 dmg. And 24 wounds with a 3+ Save.

Obviously this can just continue to get ridiculous: adding an Aspiring Deathbringer as your general to give them more attacks and then a unit of Wrathmongers to give them even MOAR!

Slaughter incarnate affects mortal khorne.

Skulltake formation gives khorgoraths 3 extra attacks if you are looking to max them specifically.

I wonder if there's a way to get Khorgorath's without buying the starter set... Maybe it might be a plastic kit like the helbrute later on? until then you know a good way to convert them?

The Hellbrute is a decent substitute for a Korgorath. I use one in my Bloodbound/Chaos-Mortal army.

Isn't the Hellbrute a bit too 40K?
