I'm interested in utilizing some of the Primaris Space Marines as Chaos Space Marines in SWA. Does this make logical sense fluff-wise if they defected? Would their armor still be normal Primaris colors or could it be different? I.e. is all Primaris armor the Ultramarine color?

Would work fine as a counts as force. Disadvantage to you as cover is determined by how much you are obscured. They're big boys.

Yeah bigger models means less cover. And cover is everything

Primaris marines are just a different type of marine, every chapter (At least the founding chapters) actually seem to have their own company of Primaris Marines, just by looking at the new art you can see Primaris Marines wearing Black Templar and Imperial Fist colors so I think it's safe to make this assumption.

Given now new these guys will be, I don't think it makes sense for them to fall to chaos. Maybe in future some will, but at this point they're fresh-faced smurfs and probably haven't even slain their first heretic.A Space Marine succumbing to Chaos is a gradual process, so it's way too soon for these guys to start now.

The Primarus fluff is sketchy to begin with. The the newest of the new Marines are also bestest of the best ? Who knew? Who knows? On the other hand, the new Death Guard mini's are also oversize, and very nice looking.

Yes, I suspect that any new Marine releases, Loyalist or Traitor, are going to use the new scale.

So the question is simply: how long are you willing to use "counts as" minis?
