So, lately my gaming group has been getting into Shadow War a lot. Seeing as I'm quite excited for my Wyches to be useful again, here's a Wych cult team I'm thinking of running:

Syren- blast pistol, chain hook, blade venom- 220
Wych- splinter pistol, chain hook, blade venom- 120
Wych- splinter pistol, wych knife, plasma grenade- 130
Bloodbride- shardnet and impaler- 135
Debutante- splinter pistol, chain hook, blade venom- 110
Debutante- splinter pistol, wych knife- 95
Debutante- splinter pistol, wych knife- 95
Debutante- splinter pistol, wych knife- 95

Total: 1000

As alternatives, I might switch the pistol and hook on the Syren for a splinter pistol and agonizer for some nice Lethal damage, and trade the shardnet for hydra gauntlets on the Bloodbride for the same reason. Thoughts?

Also, for what its worth, it looks like my primary foes may end up being Guard, Eldar and Tau, though there is also the possiblity of Marines and Chaos on the horizon.

You have to be prepared for an uphill battle. Wyches are one of the worst teams.

You have to win with mediocre close combat alone.

I'd argue that Harlequins just do everything better (minus the model count).
