Specifically adrasite&pyrithite spears and solerite weapons. How have people been modeling them? As I ordered more stuff for HH(bit more guys for sons of horus but mostly start of a blood angel force) I now have 10 custodians(and 10 SoS). Made quick list and realized I could have ~800 pts ally detachment for blood angels right away! Combined with almost 2k BA I should be able to field(albeit maybe not most optimal 2k but it's a start) I have playable BA army right there. Never mind the 10 Sisters who will be available as well.

But the optional weapons are bit of a bummer. They provide at least some variety and anti tank which would be totally dependant on BA otherwise but FW has yet to release upgrade kits for them. So what people have been using so far?

Out of the 25 30K players in my area, none of them play Custodes. One has started an army, but I have yet to see it on the table. I wish I could help. Maybe use the lances from the Eldar Shining Spears? Cut the arms off, add a little green stuff to the end to make it look more Custode-ish? Without any pictures of the weapons in the current art work, you could get away with using anything and playing the "count's as" card.

For the different spears, I plan to keep it cheap and easy by using melta and plasma gun bits.

I've tried to adapt the guardian spears into adrasite spears by improvising a greenstuff adrathic weapon muzzle onto the bolter body, and it sort of worked, but unfortunately they're stashed for the summer and I can't post a picture. The pyrithite spears should be really easy, though; just grab a spare melta nozzle (I've found the ones off combi-weapons are more accessible than real inferno pistols and work really well for converting them).

Cheap. Cheap is good.

The combi-melta part of the BaC terminator captain should work nicely.
