Wizards announced a new version of Betrayal at House on the Hill, but set in the D&D setting of Baldur's Gate.

Looks like some minor changes (tiles are divided into street, building and caverns; characters have special abilities), but the core gameplay is the same.

Spoiler:

Release date is October 2017. Amazon already has it up for pre-orders.

My group likes BaHotH, but we don't play it often. A D&D reskin works for us.

That is an interesting reskin that I would not have immediately linked. I would have thought the betrayal and horror themes were better suited to something like Ravenloft, but I guess they already did one BG on that.

I have been wanting to pick of Betrayal for a couple of years now but someone else in my group already owns it so it's kind of been in the "why bother?" category. I am really interested in this reskin and am almost certainly going to buy it.

The only question I have is .... did they make the stat clips better?

Damn good question. They look the same in the preview images, but it's hard to tell and could be something they are tweaking.

I'd like to see a list of monsters. We have a large number of D&D minis and I'd rather use those than the boring cardboard counters.
