There are threads like this over in 40k and I don't believe I have seen many people post this stuff here in a while so I'm throwing the question out there: what are some of your most hilarious/ epic/ downright stupid moments from AoS so far?

I'll start with my Order Draconis elves performing the Voodoo Shuffle(tm) against a Clan Skryre player by moving my entire army 24" in the first turn, and into 3.5" charge range of his Verminlord.

Basically I fielded a Dragonlord Warhost, won the initiative roll for turn one, and popped battalion ability. 12" hero phase movement + 12" in regular movement = 1 dog piled and fatally wounded greater demon that did almost nothing in return. The skaven player still won the game through sudden death objectives, but it was absolute fun and hilarity from start to end, 13/10 would play again.

So what shenanigans have you all have been getting up to?

Back before the GHB release me and a bud were testing out Project Points cost at 1500 points. The game came down to my GUO vs my opponent's Be'Lakor, both with only a couple of wounds left. Be'Lakor swung and killed the GUO but died from the mortal wounds it bounced back on its way out, resulting in a perfect tie where we tabled each other simultaneously.

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

Haha, nice!

It's not my battle but a friend of mine had a huge battle between his Free Guild and the opponent's Undead army. The highlight of the fight was his brave swordsmen holding up the zombie dragon that had been rampaging around the table.

After a few turns it wiped out the unit except one last soldier who then managed to get the last wound on the beast and turned the battle.

It was such a cool story I sketched it for him.

Seeing the little guy win is always the best!

my small example is from Skirimish: a grot armed with a spear pulling off his rolls and poke stabbing a wounded darkoath chieftain to death. Yeah, you can just take your six charge attacks elsewhere, buddy.

My best moments so far are thus:

1 - Having so many games ending with less than 4 or 5 of our models left on the table. Good battles all around, with never really knowing who is going to win.

2 - My 2 Brute Squads charging into a Treelord Ancient with the 1+ Armor save, re-rolling ones, and felling it in one turn thanks to some perfect rolling (Megaboss's Waagh getting the 2 bonus attacks, and rolling all Wounds successfully and with max damage on the Claws and Smashas. Waaagh!

3 - My 10-man Brute Squad charging a Greenskin Warboss in a later game, but completely whiffing on the melee, leaving it alive for 3 combats.

In my first game of AoS (not long after release) the game ended with only 2 of my chaos warriors left on the table (who needs points, right?).

In that game my familiar (the one that comes in the blister with that old metal sorcerer) took the last wound off Scyla.
