Please excuse the chipped nails (and paint covered hands) - I don't have any cool buildings and backgrounds like a lot of people here!

These guys are pretty much finally finished. First time painting a base for me too (though the pal with the statue under his foot might need more dry brushing on it). Even for the base, I've used all glosses and metallics - I was sceptical, but I think it made the base look pretty rad, especially considering the metal-loving dudes stood on it - if anything it just looks a bit futuristic, I think.

Tried some OSL for their guns, but I appreciate the models are maybe a little basic in comparison to some (these are my first lot of painted models, really!)

Let me know what you guys think

Scarabs are kinda cute...

I'm pretty proud of the statue head, really!

This is the first guy I finished - his base looks best

Necrons can be simple. But sometimes simple can be poor or well executed. You executed these very well. The OSL effect is gorgeous.

What did you use for the bases? They look very good, especially on the scarabs.

Very crisp, and seeing more of these would be great - you certainly seem very good for your first models!

Thanks! Astrogranite Debris first off, then Nuln oil gloss to wash over it. Dry brushed with Leadbelcher and then whatever Vallejo paint you let me borrow last

Fantastic work, especially considering it's your first models. I'd have been skeptical of using leadbelcher on the bases too but it turned out really nice. Looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future.
