How would the terrain kit compare in scale to DZC?

The rest of the minis are uncomfortable "old school" for me.

It's a boardgame. Everything has to fit into one box somehow.

I get it's a board game, but still in this day and age they know that if you make figures in a common scale (10,15,/0,25,28,32mm) then you might also grab some sales to tabletop players. If your going to hire a sculptor to make something for your game and you decide to save some money on the last few mm, what does that say for the final product?

Edit: and if size doesn't matter, then why are they going on about the different huge sized miniatures?

Not my KS, just posted info.

You could always ask them?

I don't see anything where it said they did it to save money.

In a board game, it's good to have different sizes of miniatures to have a better overview.

I like it, thinking about backing it.

It says 1 Wave shipping April 2018.

2 Wave shipping gets you the Core Game around October 2017, the rest in April 2018.

Judging by the looks of their stuff, some of the Cores are already being printed.

It's a board game- I don't think it really makes sense to hold it to miniature game scales...

It say Estimated Delivery Nov. 2017 under each pledge.

They should clear that up.

Plus it's not like Awaken Realms don't have any experience dealing with tabletop games, gamers, kickstarter campaigns, scenery, painting services...

Not a huge fan of how this thing is progressing. The first day caught them off guard with enormous success and I feel the stretch goals really jumped drastically in response.

Interesting idea of having fans decide the final goal, which is going to be an expansion based around Kronos coming and wrecking the board basically.

Also interesting how they incorporated the idea of Atlas and offering it up as an add on to those that were interested.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

They have added a fair bit of stuff the last couple days.

It's really starting to gain some steam, well ahead of the usual "Last 48 Hours" rush.

Credit where credit is due, this has really chugged along a lot better than I had previously thought it would.

There's a fair amount of stuff included at this point too. 2 full expansions worth of goodies, plus who knows what is in Pandora's box, and whatever the final Kronos Rebellion will be.

I hope we see some lesser titans tag along with Kronos when his time arrives.

Typhon is still one of my favorite sculpts.

If you pledge, mind if I piggyback for a terrain box? I've got plans for that stuff.

I can't bring myself to pledge for the core set because there are just too few hero minis and too many blah minis. Also, every time I scroll past Athena, I feel ashamed to be a gamer all over again. That is a sculpt that no one should be proud to own, except maybe Roger Corman.

I hope you stayed out of the Mythic Battles Pantheon KS then too.

It's nowhere near as bad as you make it out to be.

Cool concept, I like most of the figures, but unless they add a 'just the monster figures' option, I'll have to pass. Neat idea though, too bad it comes so close on the heels of Pantheon though, I feel like that really hit it out of the park in terms of Greek mythology.

I backed. My marines are heavily Greek themed and these mini's will fit in superbly. I will use all the tiny figs as scenery.
