Good morning fellow Dakkanauts,

I am now sitting on a very comprehensive XV Legion collection and now I need a big flashy vehicle of some kind to crown it as a centrepiece.

Choosing one has not been so straightforward:
I am leaning towards the Fellblade presently. It has that raw, unsophisticated appearance and I feel it would be a cute nod to the oft forgotten teachings the Thousand Sons faced of "Legionaries first, Psykers second".

I am open to persuasion by the Questoris and Cerastus knights as well. I am not considering Magnus as I already own him and the GotCK RoW means he could come along in addition to the LoW that I pick.

Looking forward to reading your thoughts. (Geddit? Cos Thousand Sons!)

“Victory is not an abstract concept, it is the equation that sits at the heart of strategy. Victory is the will to expend lives and munitions in attack, overmatching the defenders’reserves of manpower and ordnance. As long as my Iron Warriors are willing to pay any price in pursuit of victory, we shall never be defeated.” - The Primarch Perturabo, Master of the Iron Warriors

The Falchion is a thing of beauty. As is the Glaive.

My preference is a Fell Blade and it's twin cannons of DOOOOOOOM!

The Fellblade won't fail you, ranged armourbane laughs at flare shields and armoured ceramite.

I was in the same position as you, but since I already have a cerastus knight (atrapos) I'm going to order a glaive, as I lreally like the futuristic look of the main gun combined with the WWII styked chassis. Also, the gun is no pushover against just about any (non titan) target it gets to CHOOOOOOOM.

As for a cerastus knight, they are a real treat to build/paint, good posability (some poses might require sturdy pinning) and they all fill in some type of niche, I really like the atrapos and castigator.
