Didn't like either Blur or Oasis, don't know Pulp. If it's the same style music, pass.
Gorillaz, I only know one or two songs, and kinda enjoy them, but they're not the best evahh, so meh.

I mean....Damon Mocknet Albarn. Even at the height of the made up Blur vs Oasis thing, neither held a candle to Pulp.
Just because Pulp is far (far, far) superior doesn't mean Oasis and Blur are worthless.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

I have to admit I love Superfast Jellyfish as a workout tune...

Nah, I just wasn't hangin' out at the creche ...
10 years ago, gorillaz fans were still in high school. :p
Feelin' it hard to rank their stuff in order of badness to worseness - since it's all much of a muchness to me.
Even Jamie Hewlett's art took a while to grow on me - and it still hasn't taken (co-creator of Tank girl, too).
I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
The first Album was very hit and miss, some good tracks and some ok stuff. Clint Eastwood, 19-2000, 5/4, M1/A1 are all great. There's some experimental stuff that didn't really work (the latin rambling?), but overall ok.
Demon Days really hit it, not only are there great stand out tracks (Dirty Harry, Feel Good Inc, Kids With Guns, Dare) but the album as a whole worked. It's one of those albums that I treat myself to a whole listen through at least once a year.
I can't remember much from Plastic Beach other than Snoop Dog was in it and Superfast Jellyfish was really silly. Other than that completely forgettable. I haven't looked at the last two albums based off of how bad Plastic Beach was. I might have a look, see if they've got their crap back together.
