A friend of mine is interested in Gripping Beast's SAGA series. But due to being unable to buy from local FLGS, she's decided to order directly from them. Has anyone here dealt with them before and generally how well is their customer service? My friend is specifically worried about products lost in transit and they won't honor the deal and send a replacement.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

I've ordered from them before but never needed to contact their customer service.

If you're worried about a historical miniature company one thing I like to do is check what people say about them on TMP's customer affairs page. Gripping Beast is mostly positive there.

There's probably also some North American retailers, which might also be useful.

A quick Google finds this: https://www.michtoy.com/ although I know nothing more about them.

GB are based about 20 miles from me and I've ordered from them a few times. Never had a single issue and I've found the guys to be friendly and helpful.

I have bought >£150 worth of models / books / decals from Gripping Beast directly. I am unaffiliated and just a hobbyist.

I have found GB's service to be outstanding, especially for a small company such as theirs. Items are packaged well and dispatched rapidly from their warehouse.

On the one occasion where I had an issue (some figures incorrectly packaged in box), I received a reply within a day, resolution within two and replacements within four. Their customer service is polite, courteous, good natured and exceptionally professional.

Based on my experiences with the staff and their service, I can confirm you can buy with confidence from them.
