On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Hi folks,

Bit of a background query. Does anyone know of any worlds under Yu-Jing control that could be classed as 'aquatic' (i.e. very high proportion of surface water, rather than landmasses, or at least which has very sizable oceans?)

For my next force I'm thinking of doing a Yu-Jing 'naval unit' i.e. one which specialises in aquatic operations.* I quite like the idea of coming up with some background for the new force I'm making just as part of the experience, and was hoping there was something in the background that shows they have control of such a world.

Very grateful if anyone can think of anything appropriate!

* Yes that does mean painting some Yu-Jing in blue , but hopefully it is different enough from the standard Pan O colour scheme.

Other than the bits of Earth that they have, Yu Jing has Jutang and Shentang along with Huangdi.

None of those planets are specifically referred to as being aquatic as such, but I think that I remember seeing a decent amount of blue on the Huangdi map (just a pity that there are a bunch of PanO squatting on the planet).

There's always Paradiso. YJ has a bit of territory there and there are definitely oceans (as well as a war going on).

Looking through the RPG book, which has maps of all the planets near each other, the plants that would be considered more a water world are:

Concilum Prima -- controlled by O-12 and every faction has some presence.

Varuna -- PanO

Though like earth lots of plants are mostly water. As Chillreaper stated Svalarheima has very large open oceans but two large super contents in the center but just about every planet outside of maybe Dawn has more water to landmass then Svarlarheima once you start comparing but it has probably the best fluff for what you're wanting (see below)

Both Yu Jing planets have at least 50-60% water and both of their maps can be found in the HS N3 fluff book.

Fluff wise Silla on Shentang has a shipyard and a giant floating neighborhood made of boats. Korean populated city.

Sufbaatar is the main seaport of Shentang. Mongolian populated. Houses one of the more famous TAG units for Yu Jing.

Shentang has giant sea creatures that tend to attack shipping and fishing vessels.

The other planet Yutang has a 2k mile across fresh water lake that has active presence of the military due to the Emperor liking to take his yacht out occasionally. No direct mentions of ship yards but the planet seams more militaristic.

Svalarheima might be best for you fluff wise as there are lots of underseas bases on both sides (lots of geothermal vents under the sea) and lots of sea based conflict for control of fishing lanes and ice breaking ships as well as destroying said bases.
