Looking for the Rest of the II Legion

Looks really sickening and exactly what a Nurgle Chaos Lord should be!

Only word of advise is to paint the area youre going to hit with sand so that there isnt the black bit showing through. other than that he looks very oozy which is awesome

I hate putting the model up agian, but after Ubl1k pointed out the basing error I couldn't unsee it. I rebased it and did some minor touch ups.

Hey, they're both brilliant, love the goop coming from both of them and you've done a really good job with the horns on the Blightbringer

Ahhh dude that looks so much better, sorry you had to redo him, but i really love the idea of the ooze dripping off the base haha

Thank you, I always preferred Black Rimmed Bases myself; it kind of reminds me of a comic panel or frame that focuses things down the view. I felt like the slime down the side gave it that little "reaching a bit out of the panel" concept that makes it looks like the things are popping out a bit.

I'm working on the Plague Bearer now, but it's taking me some time as I'm trying to gauge how I want to do the guts and shade the cloud coming from his mouth. An Idea I'd like to do, but might be a bit rough to pull off, is crackle pale bluish white over a darker red/purple to make it look like his skin is flaking off.

I've finished up the Plaguecaster for the set. I trimmed out the head/hood and merged it with a masked head from a Dark Vengeance cultist head.

He's disgustingly awesome. What are you using for the goop?

I'm using nurgle rot technical from Citadel. The long drip on the plaguecaster I used two wires as a guide for the paint to stick to and water tension lets it stretch between them.

That's really clever, I wouldn't have thought of the wire trick

That's deliciously gross. Grandfather approves.

I decided to break up painting marines to paint a few Poxwalkers. I decided to go a little darker on the tone and add some crimson watch where I didn't put camo wash to give it some contrast. I'll probably move onto the drone next. It looks like a fun job to work on.
