Exoshift is nearing a new version release and since I'm releasing it online for free anyway, I figured I'd ask for feedback before I get too far into statting up the of units. I need to get this done to return my full attention to scupting.

What is Exoshift? It's a 32mm scifi skirmish with players using 5-15 models, individual activations, but with a variable amount of activations. It's set in a bright, but plausible future.

Feel free to comment on the rules google doc here:

Most of the core rules are done, however army construction is still in progress.

EDIT:
Added some basic force docs.

Just some thoughts.

1. Tabletop - Should list how much of the table should be terrain. 50% more, less etc.

2. Looks like a lite (hopefully) version of infinity. Just it is hard to really understand without any stats or weapon profiles.

I see you can go on hold, and can react but cant react without going on hold right?

If you post some stats in it as a reference for standard trooper and weapon I could add more

Part of the intent was to have a complex, but not overly complicated 5-15 model skirmish that could handle both sparse and dense tabletops, or a table with a mix of both.

Absolute minimum should be 1 medium sized terrain piece for 12" square of table, although some squares completely covered in terrain, or others devoid of LoS blocking terrain is okay. There's tech and units designed to make crossing open terrain not a deathtrap.

Models may not react without going on OpFire first, however this may change with playtesting. An earlier draft allowed all models to Snap Fire simple weapons as a reaction, within action limits. This may return if I can keep bookkeeping down.

OpFire carries from round to round if not used, and I'm experimenting with ways to put models on OpFire using Command Points at the start of the game.

There will be cards for this game, freely available online or printed from the online list creation app.

The basic table size being 3'x3' but with scenarios designed for a variety of table sizes. The basic mission will be similar to Infinity's YAMS fan made mission system. Deployment will be smaller than most other games at 3" base.
