Very valid points! If I had more boys painted up along with another trukk I may just have taken your advice!
In the end I dropped weirdboy and added mega armor to the warboss as you suggested, thanks!

I was unable to down the scythes with combined shootings from 8 lootas and 5 gits throughout entire game. Did 7 wounds to one. Only had points for 3 ammo runts and just rolled very poorly every shooting phase with them
2 trukk boys squads made it to his lines alive and krumped it all. Banner nob with shoota boys and warboss with choppa boys caught his 2 dif warrior squads out of position due to him thinkin they could jump back aboard night scythe and he said apparently they cannot now? Leaving him in horrible spot and proved to be decisive in game.
Secure and control after t4 saw 1 trunk wrecked and 3 boys dead, 9 wounds taken on trukk 2 and 1 wound taken on my wagon. He still had his warlord alive and a few immortals and a full health and half dead night scythe zipping around, he had first blood as well compared to my linebreaker and holding both objectives for a 7-1 end game ork victory
He had no AP weapons and had a hard time cracking the vehicle despite the bonus hits for rollling 6s. I'm glad I brought a balanced list, as I think it helped a lot. I had LOS blocking terrain hiding my boys on one obj from scythes, and my wagon full of stuff ready to plop out on other obj on last turn (necrons seized so orks went second)
The gits and lootas did not perform well at all this game. I should of ignored the flyers and only fired on his infantry.
Regret not bringing those 5 stormboys for sure after I saw his deployment lol.
