I just noticed something about transport in 8ed you can transport multiple squads in one transports. You can take a wave serpent put a squad of banshees, fire dragons, an Autarch and a phoenix lord. Since they are all going into the wave serpent it would be like putting down one unit for placement. In 8ed sergeants and exarchs are free upgrades it's better to have two smaller squads then one bigger squad so you can have more sergeants and exarchs. The only problem is you might go second because you have more units. Putting them in a transport would circumvent that.

The Polito form is dead, insect. Are you afraid? What is it you fear? The end of your trivial existence?

Yep, this is a benefit of transports - decreasing the amount of "units" you deploy.

With this, there going to be a lot exarch and sergeants in the game. There is very little reason to run full squads.
