Does anyone know of any good resources for tutorials or forums relating to 3D modeling for miniatures/terrain? We're slow at work so I have some time to work through the tutorials in Solidworks, but I was wondering if anyone could point me to some miniatures specific content to learn from.

Thanks!

If you're looking to do upgrade parts for tanks, the most important tools you will want are a set of calipers and a bevel. Getting the angles right and the measurements precise are very important.

I haven't any background with Solidworks so I can't give tutorials there. The big thing is to find the basic modeling tutorials, look at guides for building any number of things and try adapting the techniques and experiment with them to see what you can do.
