When I came home I put a standard vs primaris marine right next to each other for evaulation. Heads and pauldrons are the same, so they should be able to be swapped out without any cutting. In fact you shouldn't need to worry about pauldrons at all. The backpack is actually the same size, so you would just use a backpack from a standard marine.
The differences that looks like they would need shaving are the color around the neck, the trim around the pauldrons, and you could get away with removing the scope from the bolter. You might be able to get it cut out an original bolter, but I think it would look tiny in its hands. If it still bothers you I think you could cut out the middle section past the left hand to shorten the barrel.
Now other guns might be tricky at the moment, but if someone wanted to start a project working with standard bolter marines, you could get away with it.
I also think that you could get away with 1 handed weapons as the elbow to arm is surprisingly the same distance between the models. If you have some heads, chainswords, and bolt pistols around, you might be able to start up sergeants as well.
