Gw seems to be out of all the stuff I want.

What is a good retailer to buy NIB from?

Already checked the war store and a few others

Thanks guys

Unfortunately, GW is the best source for the older LOTR miniatures. Most of those are (I think) no longer available through retailers. I think the newer Hobbit stuff may still be available through retailers but I don't know any who are actually stocking it.

If what you want is OOS in the GW store just click the link to be notified when it's available again, it will be. Nothing actually listed on the GW web store is OOP and they do continue adding additional missing items every once and a while.

Is there a good place to buy LOTR secondhand?

I need cave trolls and dwarfs mostly

Thanks

eBay is awash with LOTR models, but they seem very popular and prices end up reasonably high.

There may be a few things I have not bought up left on eBay. I went on something of a buying spree just before a couple years ago when it looked like GW was going to drop the LOTR/Hobbit game altogether.

Seriously, there is a lot of LOTR stuff still on eBay, some of it still in the original boxes or blisters. Prices are quite variable, the common stuff can be had for original retail or less. Some of the more popular OOP stuff can get quite expensive, though (I saw a Finecast Radagast the Brown go for over $200 once!). Prices of $50-75 for less common blisters is not uncommon, though. Cave trolls are pretty common, though, and so are most of the Dwarf figures.

The two Facebook groups are fantastic.

But yes the entire range is now direct only.

However, there is a Warhammer TV interview with Adam Troke tomorrow where he'll be talking about new models, new books, increased support, etc, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the new box branding (for Middle Earth SBG) have a retail releases.
