Hi!

Because not everyone visits the P&M Blogs and I'm feeling disproportionally proud of myself today, I figured I would post this fellow up here too. Enjoy and let me know what you think!

The figure is based on the Space Marine Master of the Rites (not available everywhere, I believe he is OOP and some stock remains down under), one unfortunate plastic hormogaunt and a mess of green stuff guts and pva blood:

Thanks friend! I have updated the photos with more color-correct versions as everything looked a bit to yellowed out.

Great idea for conversion. Gives a miniature some character!

Thanks! I like it when I can tell a little story with a miniature. And I actually did get a little red ink on his cape but I managed to cover it up

Very nicely done! I especially like the subtle eye color, instead of the usual sharp contrast.

Yeah there's a lot of character in those old sculpts! I couldn't get my hands on a metal one so this guy is 'finecast', except for the plastic bits. I'm considering putting metal washers or fishing weights in all my bases to give these minis some heft.

You should thank my girlfriend for that! My first Fists had bright green eye lenses but she said they looked like crap (in a loving way), I then changed to blue and I also like the more subtle look.

Very nice, I like the head swap makes him more regal.
