Can a character disembark and the use daemonic ritual rule to summon?
They can move as normal, but also count as moving.

Bonus follow up question, does disembarking by grab shute insertion change this?

That's a good question. I would say no from my gut, because while disembarkation lets you move normally after it, you're still doing it in the movement phase as part of the rules for moving.

I am not sure if there is anything chaos that can Grav-Chute, but since it happens at the end of the movement phase there is never a chance for you to be able to summon. If you mean the Valkyrie variant, I'd say the same as above with disembarking.

That being said, it can easily be argued the other way. Looks like this is one for the FAQ

From 'Transports' (pg. 183 of the main rulebook):

Note though, that even if you don’t move disembarking units further in your Movement phase, they still count as having moved for any rules purposes, such as shooting Heavy weapons (pg 180).

So no, you may not perform the Daemonic Ritual in the same turn that you disembark from a Transport.
