Hiya! so I've been playing a lot of world of Warcraft, and the idea hit me! I love death knights, so why not see if I can convert one up, and see if maybe there are rules that closely resemble one? I did look at the rules for a Vampire Lord, and it really kinda resembles Blood Death Knights from the game; however I'm having a hard time coming up with a Frost Death Knight equivalent!! so I figured I'd come to dakkadakka and see what if any ideas i can gather from you all difference if you didn't/don't play WoW is Blood Death Knights are a tank specialty to play and are very good at self healing while wielding a big 2 handed sword, and Frost Death Knights are all about the damage while using a weapon in each hand. so help me out please?

I agree that Vampire Lord sounds like the first guys you were describing, at least game-wise mechanics. You may want to look at the flesh eaters units called courtiers. There's a couple or three different types of creatures that read like they have decent damage output. They don't use swords specifically but the name of the weapon is pretty much interchangeable with many AoS attacks.

And vamp lord for frost as it uses 2 weps but whit this chaos model as baseline for a conversion.

Could go with a counts-as using a Ghoul King on Terrorgheist warscroll. Maybe use Arkhan's warscroll for unholy?

That's what I was thinking also!! I saw the wight king with axe and immediately thought Blood!! just maybe replace the head with a warrior helmet and he'd be good to go! It's kinda shame really that there's no real good analogue for Frost Death Knights unless I go the route of Beastclaw raiders since that's literally their thing, but than I lose out on the whole undead leader with ravenous undead monstrosities right behind him! Also thank you all for the help and ideas!


edit: so I went to heroforge for kicks and giggles and i think this turned out ok, if I do order him I'd use him as a vamp lord
